Eames chairs are great, we have a cheap knock-off and other than falling apart it has been a great, comfortable chair.

My personal peeve is, I don't want a chair that is so soft and cushiony and laidback and adjustable and stretched-out that it makes the living room look like a bedroom, or an invalid's room. There are some chairs out there that are awesomely comfortable, you could practically live in them, all they need is the IV bottle and catheter. But I don't want to live like I'm bed-ridden. Just give me a chair, a simple chair, that's optimized for people who are sitting, conscious, and alert. When I want to sleep, I'll go to bed.
