I already disconnected the water temp sending probe and cleaned the contacts. It had a lot of green corrosion on it. I am going to order a new sender from Pelican on monday - there is not a part in the on-line catalog, so I have to call them.
Other than the Blown Head Gasket scenario - what are the other symptoms? It is running fine.
One thing that has happened in the past when it got hot was low oil pressure. Oil pressure is right on the money, but I will say I am not running it enought to see how low it will go - if it is running hot.
I am off to bleed more air out of the system. Any other ideas? Anyone?
