Dive may have had another possible solution...waterpump is starting to head south. It might not be at the point yet where it is pushing antifreeze out of the relief hole, but the blades on the inside could be on their last legs.
Although I did hear these cars are a pain to bleed all the air out of.
When cold, the oil pres. gauge should peg itself around 5 (I have an aftermarket gauge and it actually reads 6.5 bar right at start up) and when hot it should read around 2-3 on the factory gauge (aftermarket it reads 1.5 bar). I trust my aftermarket far more than the factory one (even though its better than an idiot gauge, this one cost me a cool $175). A few days ago, I hadnt checked the oil in about a week and a half (my neglect and busy ass schedule didnt even leave me the time to pop the hood and check the dipstick) but 3 quarts of oil had left the system due to the aftermarket sensor that was tapped into the OE sending unit line. The teflon tape had come apart and oil seeped past it, and on the hwy I usually read 4.5-5 bar on the aftermarket gauge.
Well this time I was reading below 4, which had me watching the gauge the entire way to work. I started to noticed that as I went around turns, the oil pressure would drop alarmingly down to like 2 or 1.5bar. At that point I got scared, thinking i had lost a lot of or all of my oil, but I was still getting pressure and I was going to drive it until it dropped below 1.5. I babied it to the shop where I found that the tape had come out (fixed it) and filled it with almost 3 quarts of oil. This entire time that this happened..the factory gauge never faltered. It read 4 bar, and as the rpms came down it read 3 bar, but never showed any indication that i was low on pressure, which was actually 2 bar or less. IMO get an aftermarket oil pressure and temp gauge to keep an eye on things.
