When I stopped watching CNN two years ago, they almost always said "Mr. Bush". I will concede that that may be different now. I also listen to WBBM (AM 710) out of Chicago, they still almost always say "Mr. Bush".

As for NPR...

When I do listen to them (usually only on long road trips through areas with only country stations) they seem to be socially liberal. One of their favorite news subjects is whenever a conservative politician either calls to the end of, actually ends, or tries to limit or put conditions around some entitlement program (welfare, public housing, etc.). They (seem to me to) use a formula where they quote some worst-case-scenario number of people who will be affected the change, then interview someone who will suffer. They have yet to interview me (or anyone for that matter) who will suffer when their property or income taxes go up to pay for new programs.

That's my 2¢. Like all of us, I'm sure my perspective is skewed by my upbringing and personal experiences.
