I totally agree with you DD74. I've learned that it is not so much as a gender thing as it is a personality thing. I think a lot of guys and gals don't know what they want so they just go on the looks factor in determining who they date. I can see a women that at first you think they is attractive, and then she speaks or you see how she acts and it totally blows it. When I met my girlfriend I noticed she was hot and had a nice smile. Then I watched her interact with people and I liked what I saw. Now it has been one year and things are great and our relationship is very fullfilling and like nothing I have experienced.
On a side note........what is with so many guys being so chick these days? They wear more jewelry than Liz Taylor, they get manicures, and then they start coloring or putting highlights in their hair at age 20. It's all about low maintenance in my book. Just my 2 cents.
