Had a 8100/8200 series Dell and it was just a boat anchor. Worked very nice but just too big and heavy.

Now have a 600 series Dell and its 2.5 pounds lighter and a 1/2 inch thinner.

Might look there, or a IBM Thinkpad. Doing without a floppy drive or a swapable drive helps.
