I've heard it said, actually, that driving a 911 is better than sex. I'd be curious what the consensus of this board is, though not nearly curious enough to start the poll-thread.
I've also noted a marked trend among Pelicans that women don't like Porsches, or men with Porsches, or that owning a Porsche makes meeting women more difficult. I would postulate that a man develops an emotional bond with his 911: women find that competition unpleasant, as they know they can't compete.
Haven't heard about heat-cycling my tires, actually. I thought I just had to scuff them up real good doing normal use driving before I tried to push them to their limits. I'm actually bummed -- I was going to go for a nice long "warm up the tires" drive tomorrow, but some stuff with work has come up. Now the tires will have to spend most of the weekend making flat spots in the garage.
