Just to bump it a bit more, anyone wanting to send anything over APO mail needs to get it in the mail now.
Its all shipped to an address in the NYC area then airlifted over on military aircraft on a "space A" basis. Thats "space available" in other words if they have room to throw a couple of bags here and there, so it has no priority.
Once "in theatre" it is usually hussled out to the troops but it still takes at least 10 days and at times over a month to get anything in their hands.
