So within the 10 minutes he was able to go to his bank, get a cashier to draw up a check, presumeably inferring what your name is, and, I assume, the correct $ amount even though he seemed to forget this in the email, then go home again & write & send the email?
Give the postal address of the nearest FBI office & insist he overnights the check otherwise you will sell to someone else.
