The Toshibas are nice units. I know a lot of people that have them and they swear by them. Seems each brand has it's fanatics. I like my Dell desktop, but hated the Inspiron 1150-which btw cost me $799 with 15 inch screen, Celeron, and 512k. I didn't like it, so I sent it back. Upon requesting a return, Dell offered to kick $100 back to me if I would keep it. That would have brought my price down to $699 plus shipping. Not bad, but I would still rather have the Toshiba for $650. Bigger screen and better "M" processor. Nicer ergonomics and keyboard as well. Just a better machine overall imo.
