Well guys, I ripped up the carpet today. It was soaking wet. The good news is I didn't see any obvious rust. I know that doesn't mean it isn't there, though. Water was actually pooled on the carpet behind the driver's seat and under the pedals. Chris thinks the leaks are coming from a crappy seal job when the car was repainted. And yes, the original color was brown! Any temporary ideas 'til I get the funds to have the windows resealed??? Ps - I also posted on gruppeb...
