Euro 911SC
I just purchased a gray market 1979 SC coupe. I am the third owner and have all the paper work from the EPA. I would like to return the car to its factory European appearance. I am not sure what all would be involved. I know that I will need different rear lenses, to delete the side signal lenses in the front bumper, and to add blinkers to the front quarter panels. What else is needed? Is there any reason why I should not do this?
Also, I have the receipts for this car dating back 15 years. It sounds as if there have been a lot of electrical problems and I have noticed more than a couple of wires that are taped over. Is it possible to get a wiring harness and start over or should I work through system by system to ensure that everything is as it should be?
