I really need help as I am definitely not an expert on refinishing wheels.

My 8X17 and 9X17 Ruf Speedline wheels need to be refinished. I want the rims polished (no clear coating on the rims) and the centers painted.

This is what I plan to do (after reading a lot of topics in this forum):

1: I will have the wheels blasted
2: Polish the lips
3: I will have the wheels centers powdercoated.

Any other suggestions? Is this the right order to do it in? Is there a problem (with corrosion) if there is 1½ months between step 2 and 3?
