Webers will improve throttle responce but give away fuel mileage and reliability. They also run more rich than CIS so passing a smog test would be tough. If you live in the midwest you have to tune them seasonally. Other than SSIs there isn't much out there for < $2000 that will significantly increase HP, believe me I've looked hard. mikez - regarding the 3.0L CIS with 964 Webcams, how much did this help? I have been entertaining the idea of a cam swap.
