Glad you guys like it. I always wanted to have a model of an early Gmund racer but couldn't find it in 1/18 scale and so as soon as I saw SunStar coming out with the 356A I decided to go for a conversion. I did do some research and saw a few shots of a 356A car with simmilar body structure to the scale model (Gmund coupe had a split windshield and other "early" parts).
Basically I started with a standard 356A model, took it apart

), got rid of the lower moldings and filled the cavities, made alluminium farings and scoops,painted the exterior to look like the brushed alluminium, painted the interior and seats. Now I am working on customizing the engine and exhaust. I will post more photos as I go.
