replaced my sound pad on my '68 911. followed pelican parts tech article with some alterations of my own. first trace old orig sound pound onto new pad. i used 3m trim adhesive (non-spray) and started from the base of the engine up. very easy just a bit time consuming (1hr for a rookie like me) and a knuckle scraper. good luck.
