I just installed Charlie's brass bushings in my shift coupler a couple days ago. After adjusting the coupler, I noticed a significant difference between these brass bushings and the weltmeister plastic ones. The brass creates less slop and eliminated the grinding I was having. Overall shifting is smoother and you can feel it notch into each gear.
Note, I have the Seine Gate shift kit, and a new ball cup bushing installed. So my results may vary from those with a different setup or a tranny in worse condition than mine.
