Are you honestly making the leap that some cops have used excessive force with tasers, therefore no cops should have them?
Do you honestly think that the cop in the video was not justified in using force to subdue the beligerant combative drunken idiot? Would it have been beter if he had used his nightstick? Unlike the stick, The taser hurts like hell, but does no permanent damage. When he stops resisting, the pain stops. How long the pain continues is entirely in the hands of the drunk.
