No knock back... A bullet would have to be moving at many, many, many times the speed of sound to affect a person's body this way, due to the relative difference in mass... What it does do is tear a hole out the opposite side of you as mentioned, which, as the 9mm and .223 are wont to do, is hugely affected by bullet tumble (both being small projectiles fired at a high velocity, relatively). More tumble = messier hole
Any flying through the air is seen mostly in movies or has to do with psycho-somatic reactions.
