I think we have an expert here on pretty much anything so here’s a curly one:

I have a (roughly) 5 year old Hoover Clothes Dryer - the sort with the round lint filter on the door. The good lady wife has overheated it a couple of times (putting in too few clothes) and it has gone into auto shut off. Normally after a cool down period it is good to go – but not this time. I can’t get it to fire up.

Do these things have a manual reset or a fuse or something that goes? Or is it dead?
