Fugeddaboudit! I was Kriegered in the early 80s. He parted out my 912 (really a worthless rustbucket) and disappeared with my deposit. The S.F. DA's office couldn't be less interested. I filed a complaint with the Mayor's office of consumer fraud. They sat on it for a year after which time they dismissed it - statute of limitations expired.
It was easy winning a case against him in Small Claims court. In fact I won two - both default judgements because he never showed up. Luckily, I was able to recover most of my money. Not from him directly but as a business loss. That's why I went through the Small Claims circus.
By the way, check out the public records in the San Mateo County DA's office in Redwood City. He's also a convicted drug dealer. Scumbag!
