I meant "investment watch" as in a watch that I would wear for years and years, versus a watch that I let fall into disrepair or wear when I'm working on the car or whatever. I doubt I would ever sell a watch so resale isn't the end-all, but what I'm looking for here is one which is very high quality, in the same way that my Pelikan and Montblanc pens are high quality. I'm big into the "buy the best that you can afford" philosophy, and I'm now in a place financially where I can afford to spend more on my watch than the $60 Wenger I have worn for the last few years. I'm looking to upgrade to my first high quality watch, and it just so happens that I know someone who works for Montblanc and I can get the employee discount, so some of their watches are feasible, and I was wondering if I should consider them. Thanks for the input!
