Is Mobil-1 5W-30 Acceptable in a 2000 540i?
Good Afternooon All,
I have always run 5W-40 Castrol Syntec in my 2000 540i, but because of trading my daily driver, I have several gallons of Mobil-1 5W-30 that I no longer have a specific need for.
My question, is this oil acceptable for use in my 540i? It is not used at the track, rather it only sees duty in the summer months when the snow has left Wisconsin.
