Please allow me to ask a silly question , no two... okay three.

1. Cannot remember if it is possible to replace the connecting rod big end bearings without splitting the case..

2. Budget restraints reqire me to either re-ring or forget it.. what are my chances of getting new piston rings to seal?

3. Some bonehead previously managed to completely crush closed one of the hard oil lines under the car... can it be repaired? spliced with reinforced hose???

1981 911SC Targa Weinrotmetalic/ Black 94K miles,, no smoke, engine appears clean inside, lots of broken lower case studs...
