Coil pack or wires; you don't state the mileage but being an '01 I imagine the wires (boots,etc) are near the end of their service life.
I did run into a chevy v6 that had a misfire once that turned out to be the grounding of the coil pack; it was bolted direct to the block and grounded thru the bracket with no other provisions for ground. Lost the ground due to a prev. owner not tightening the part down leading to an intermittent miss.
