Also, check your fans. They wear out and don't give the air push they are supposed to. If they make noise, or are hard to hand turn, chances are, they are not working right.
As far as a bad guage is concerned, first I would look at the grounds. There are several ground blocks, but I have an early model, so I will assume yours are in a different place. Those brown wires run everywhere, you might have one that is loose or corroded. It will wreak havoc with your guages. In the early set up, the ground runs from guage to guage, so you might have a bad connection, for example, on the clock, and the ground to the oil pressure guage will be affected. (A great way to check how the ground wire runs from guage to guage is to replace a 7 amp fuse with a 25 amp fuse and follow the melted mess of wires. A bit of advice - teach your teenage son the difference before it is too late)
