Blame the questioner (Pitts may have helped the soldier frame the question, but when it was asked, the other troops cheered. Funny the article didn't mention that.)
The other blather coming from Rummy about why -- 18 months after the invasion, troops were fending for themselves -- is ludicrous on the face of it. "Physics"? Bull*****. "Working at quite a clip?" The manufacturers themselves stated that they were wrking at 50% of capacity.
Rummy is maybe the worst SecDef in recent history.
