I'm a dissatisfied Pelican customer because Pelican chose to ship it FedEx ground rather than UPS ground. The message was intended for PP, to discourage them from using FedEx ground service for CA -- better service for their customers.
BTW, I really like FedEx one day service. It's the ground service that sucks.
