911 Clutch Replacement
OK folks, I'm tired of grinding gears and a hard-to-push clutch in my 911. It's time to do something about it.
1. If I took it to a mechanic, how much should I pay to have the clutch replaced, and the synchros replaced? One place I called estimated $2500.
2. Since that's ridiculous, should I consider doing the job myself? I've replaced lightbulbs, changed the oil, replaced the fuel filter...obviously this is a little more complex...but I'm pretty mechanically inclined. Is this something I can do on my own?
