Yes, I did buy it used but it was from a pretty big Mac guy who resells and buys a lot of them, he's a major fan like most of the Mac users that I encounter, and I'm pretty certain that it was a fresh install of OS-X.
I appreciate the help, I'm sure that it will get straightened out and I'll like the machine better.
