I think Curt still owns a Porsche, so on that front, he's the man.
Additionally, I think you're looking at this all wrong. Curt already decided he was going to sell or trade in the Cayenne and get a tow vehicle, so his wife just did the errand for him. When my wife goes to pick me up dinner from a restaurant, I don't complain. Indeed, this woman might be a superior life form.
