It is, at least, a form of moral torture, which can be as painful as physical torture. So, what should be the real definition of a torture ? Isn`the distinction between physical/no physical a little hypocritical ?

My oldest son attended a military school last year, and the leaders there made it very clear from the start that not getting sleep was a very effective way to "correct" the students. My son tells me it does indeed work, and was much more "attention getting" than just physical stuff (push ups, etc.) they administered.
