Len, some might argue otherwise but I think the physical addiction largely fixes itself in a couple of days. Sure, there are physiological changes going out weeks and months, but I think the blurriness, focus problem, etc., has probably moved behind you now for the most part, and I think that's a massive victory. For a long time, and perhaps forever, there will be a desire to light up. But it's a two-stage thing, and I think you've pinned the physical addiction thing to the mat.
Yes, my recollection of previous quitting experiences suggest that your perceptions change quite a bit. Your senses of taste and smell just about quadruple. Your alertness and mental acuity double or triple.
It's HUGE. I cannot overstress the significance of this victory of yours.
