I had to replace the visors on my '77 Targa a few years ago for the same reason that they puffed up. If I remember correctly, the original style visor is NLA, and I had to purchase the Carrera style - which look better anyway. As was stated, the open car visors are different than the coupes - the hinges are fixed at both sides thus the visors do not pivot out towards the door. The new one I received do have a slight bend in the middle.

I agree that the prices are obscenely high for these things. A few years back PCNA was mailed out coupons for $100 off a parts purchase of $200 or more - that's when I bought them.
