[Overpaid Slacker]

I've had this convo. with the grilf ... she started putting on the lbs, probably weighed about 10-12 more than when we'd met. This happens frequently to my girlfriends b/c I eat a lot of meat and drink more than they're used to.

She wasn't happy w/ her weight and asked if it bothered me and I said "yes, it does". I told her it's not that I'm going to love/care about her less, but that I'm less physically attracted to her. I'm not going to lie and say "it's OK" when I'm simply less turned on by someone who is "heavier."

And part of it is self-discipline ... I require it of my girlfriends for a variety of reasons, and if you can't shed a few lbs when you want to, or can't maintain a reasonable weight, it bespeaks poor self-discipline.
