I was a skeptic but a few years back I had a fairly nasty ding in my M3 and the guy was able to remove all traces of it for ~$75 even though it was in a fairly hard to access (from behind) area.

Keep in mind that you're only a candidate for this process if there's no metal wrinkling/creasing, paint cracks, and there needs to be some way to get tools behind the dent such as down thru a window channel or up from below.
