And FWIW, like every other genre of pop music, 90% is unoriginal disposable crap, and some of what remains is sheer genius. In fact, I'd say more genius than any other pop form. 99+% of white rock is worse than a beer fart, (Limp bizkut anyone?), and country, which used to be brilliant, is written for the "10-4 rubber ducky" crowd these days. Wrap a ***** log in the U.S. flag, then stand back and wait for the cash tsunami.
And here is your free tip for the day: Listen to Outkast. The biggest selling, most award-laden hip-hop group last year, absolute genius, and no shoot-em-up or slap-em-down. (Well, hardly any).
