Last year I asked on this board if a raffle was a good idea to raise money for my daughter's school. A few people responded that they sometimes buy these tickets and a few knew people who had won.

Tickets are $100 each, or 3 for $250. Prize is your choice of Porsche Cayenne, Mercedes SLK 350, or BMW 530i. Of course there is a "cash option" of $45,000. Odds are around 1:162. There are some cash prizes, and an early bird drawing. Max of 2100 tickets will be sold.
As an incentive to get parents to sell, they get a free ticket if they sell four. I'm working on the auction so I can't enter - if someone buys four tickets ($350) you get my free ticket - for a total of five tickets for $350. This has to be done through me and not on the web site. It's all for a great cause. All money will be used for school improvements and operating expenses.
