I am stuck here in meetings today, but some of my colleagues will be absent from the meetings because they are in Olympia. I wish I could be there with them. Legislative hearings are public, by the way. They are free. You can sign in to testify, if you like. It's a very human, very local process. Those legislators only know what we tell them or what they tell each other. You'd be surprized at the simple bits of information that make those legislators pause visibly. It's amazing what they don't know, and what they have not considered. If anyone wants to go there to witness hearings, let me know. It's pretty easy. A shuttle is available because parking sucks. Those lobbyists have to park their cars somewhere.......
