I love the drivetrain, reason why I don't feel so bad. Mine's got 47K on it, and the oil was changed when I bought it at 42K with Mobil 1 and hasn't used a drop. Love it. Other guys are reporting 150K miles + without any major consumption problems yet, so it appears the engines are still bulletproof. Same can be said about the tranny.
When I purchased mine, I was still impressionable from my previous, esp. my e30 which had 180K when I sold it, barely a quart usage between oil changes. Everything still worked. Hoping this one turns out the same way.
