Well people don't survive outside for very long that is for sure. I am from north dakota and lived in minneapolis where it is a bit warmer, 50 below will kill you pretty quick if you were to get stranded outside, then add the windchilll.....yee haw! Cars don't start unless you plug them in with the block heater, and even at 50 below they have a good chance of not starting. You just stay inside where it is warm
