1996 Landrover discovery

Was driving from philly to charlotte...(all this in 2 minutes time while pulling over to shut down. ) Valve chatter got loud..oil light came on..check engine came on.. ran rough....I checked oil....Full...
( i added a quart anyhow..oil light went off...chekc engine still on...still running bad)

Any ideas...stuck in Baltimore.....


Oil pump???
