I just rolled over 300K miles in my 94 Mazda B4000 pickup, which I bought new. It's still the original engine, and it uses virtually NO oil, and expect it to probably pass emissions in another 2 weeks when it's due. I've changed plugs, a couple of water pumps and thermostats, 2 heater cores, 2 radiators, but that's it. It's still the original Alternator and AC compressor, which still works fine! And I haven't coddled this thing, I use Mobil 1, changed when I feel like it, usually 8-10k miles, or when it gets down a quart.

I used about 15000 gallons of gas in that time at about 20mpg, that's an average of about 79 miles each and every day!
