Europe has big $ business and oil with Iran. Europe figures the US will always do the dirty work and they can keep their business ties. Europe doesn't even have the military might or $ to stage a war. The current game is to get Iran to do the Libya act. Israel will be quiet due to US telling them that an attack by them will set back US politics in the region. The Ukraine election was probably noted by Iran. Once Iran is fixed Syria should collapse.

for entertainment anyone can watch what the US does concerning Egypt. That game will probably start when Condi gets the State Dept act together. The US population's issue is realizing that cold war realpolitic was trashed by the Pres at the inag. You either believe that the Pres is relentless in his issues or you don't.
