Did you try to raise the latch a little? I had to raise mine about 1/4 in. almost to the stops. If you havn't tryed this yet you should remove the two plugs on the trim just on the inside right by the hood latch. Then use an allen wrench to release the two bolts. Raise the latch and thighten, then test it. I'm not so sure that the seal is good enough to the hood, I really don't want to test it but, then I don't drive it in the rain. Be careful on the adjustment and don't force it.
