The ironic thing is that the Civic actually has a powerful little engine. I also have a Civic with the V-TEC engine and love the economy and reliability I have found with this car since purchasing it new. I had been very pleased with the performance up until the point where I had become a Porsche owner. In a very short time it had become almost an instinctive move to sling-shot around another car when passing in the the Porsche but a much different story in the Civic since this same move requires some advanced planning and additional time to accomplish - and although the end result is the same (passing a car) there is just no comparison otherwise. The way and Porsche feels firmly planted on the road is Pure Driving Excitement rather than... just driving a car.
