83 944 Drive Train "Whine"
Requesting assistance on diagnosing a whine in my drive train.
I just purchased the car and nothing was noted in the pre-purchase mechanics inspection and I did not notice the whine on the test drive.
But now, there is a distinct whine coming from the rear axle/ diff/ trans area only at low rpm in 3 - 5 gear. Any ideas out there?
Car has 75k original miles.
