I like them a lot and for several reasons. Performance is definitely world class w/ a little prep, (One of Jack and Tyson's fiercest competitors in OTC is an NSX), and they never sold or built very many, so you will never see many on the road. (A huge plus in my book when it comes to anything from a jacket to a car).
I also think that aesthetically they are beautiful and classic in a way unlike the 911, but then every classic must be unique and unlike the others. At the L.A. auto show recently I was glad to see that they are still making them, but slightly perturbed by the new exposed headlights on them, I truly think that they were perfect the way that they were. That's the highest compliment of anything to me- it looks like one person's idea of what a sports car should be, just like our beloved 911s.
Also never forget that Honda dominated F1 very recently, as a performance/engineering company they are no joke.
