I think what they are referring to is the aftermarket MAF sensor housings for Mustangs/Camaros etc.
These MAF housings use your original sensor and by reducing the airflow across the sensor wires tricks your EFI system into shortening the injector pulse width to compensate for the larger injectors. They work great at wide open throttle, but driveability suffers in the "normal" range.
