Under your $1K MSRP - but the frame is very nice and standard components are good. I'll upgrade near term the cranks and bar/stem. After that the stock wheels get tossed for something better. The stock seat lasted one ride. Brakes are phenom as is the overall geometry. I can't stand softtail bikes but then I'm not a downhill bomber either. I like the long agonizing uphills best.
